World's oldest twitter user dies aged 104

London: Ivy Bean, who became an online celebrity as the oldest known user of micro-blogging site Twitter, has died at the age of 104.
Pat Wright, manager of the care home where she lived in Bradford, northern England, says Bean died peacefully early on Wednesday.
Wright said Bean "grabbed new technology. She would try anything."
Bean joined Twitter in 2008 (http://twitter.com/ivybean104) amassed more than 56,000 followers. They included Sarah Brown, wife of former Prime Minister Gordon Brown, who tweeted Wednesday: "Sad to hear the news of Ivy Bean's passing. A great spirit and sense of humor" highly respected senior ambassador for Twitter."

Bean's last tweet was July 6. It read, "going to have my lunch now will be back later."
Wright said Bean is survived by a daughter.

Versace: Another Italian fashion brand, Versace will be bringing its distinct look to Dubai with the Palazzo Versace Dubai, which is due to open in 2011. Currently under development with the Emirates Sunland Group, the Palazzo will have 169 private residences and 217 luxury suites.The brand first ventured into the hospitality industry on Australia's Gold Coast with the Palazzo Versace in 2000. The hotel chain promises to give guests the full Versace experience, with everything from furniture to toiletries carrying the brand's mark.

Armani: The world's first Armani Hotel opened earlier this year in none other than the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, giving it the exclusive title of being the world's highest hotel as well. As it says on their website, 'from the room designs to the carfeully selected textiles and fabrics, every aspect of the hotel will bear the Armani personal stamp.' Along with 160 rooms and suites, the Armani Hotel is also home to an in-house spa, chocolatier, gallery and upscale lounge.
